Hi,
My name Is Mike Noland and I'm a fishin' fool . . . . no, really.  In the winter of 2000 - 2001 a local fisherman started a fishing club in Oswego, Illinois and called it the Oswegoland Fishin' Fools.
Well, I decided I'd worked 2 jobs long enough and would get back to what I loved doing when I was a kid; fishing.  So, when I heard about the new club being formed, I went to the first meeting and joined. By March of '01 we had 28 members.  That was almost Thirteen years ago now and it occurs to me that it was one of the best decisions I've ever made.  I've made lots of fishing friends and fished places that I probably never would have ventured to otherwise. A founding year member and past President of the club I now publish the monthly newsletter which you can see at  http://www.fishinfools.org

This blog is my way of reaching out to other fishermen/women to share fishing knowledge and experience as well as stories and news of interest to all anglers.  I look forward to your stories/questions/comments.  I only ask that you keep them positive.
